Ice Age Floods Tour 2026
-
We’re teaming up with PNW Paddleboards to offer this unique, immersive, all-inclusive 7-day expedition following the path of the colossal Ice Age floods that reshaped the Pacific Northwest.
Beyond visiting these fascinating sites, we’ll be fully experiencing them by hiking and paddling right through the heart of the action!
Starting in Spokane, Washington, we’ll trace these massive flood paths from just below where the Lake Missoula ice dam failed at Farragut State Park, through the Bowl & Pitcher, to the confluence of where the Spokane River met the Columbia River, to Grand Coulee, Banks Lake and Dry Falls, Moses Coulee, the Hanford Reach and White Bluffs, Badger Mountain, Wallula Gap, Palouse Falls and more. All the key places where this incredible geologic story unfolded.
After each day’s activities, we’ll set up camp right in the middle of this dramatic landscape to share dinner and stories around the campfire with our fellow travelers before drifting off to sleep under the stars.
